What are mycorrhizae?
Mycorrhizae are a form of symbiosis between the mycelium (primary element of the fungus) and the plant root, within the rhizosphere, the surrounding soil zone.

ENDOTROPHIC

ECTOENDOTROPHIC
When the hypha penetrates the thickness of the root itself, remaining in the intercellular spaces.
